Counting the Homeless


The April 7th Homeless & Housing Task Force Meeting presents Counting the Homeless: New Ithaca / Tompkins County Continuum of Care (CoC) Point-in-Time Count Data

with John Ward, the American Red Cross, Tompkins County; and Deana Bodnar, Department of Social Services, Tompkins County, Lead Agency for the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS). Unless notified otherwise, meetings are held in the sixth floor board room of Tompkins County Mental Health Services, 9:30 - 11AM, 201 E. Green Street, Ithaca.

The Homeless and Housing Task Force is facilitated by the Human Services Coalition and consists of human service providers, volunteers, and elected officials interested in issues such as emergency shelter, supplemental food programs, transportation and other basic needs. The committee meets six times per year providing an opportunity for networking and long-range planning. Task Force members will also have the opportunity to make brief announcements and share items of interest to the local human service community. All interested parties are encouraged to attend. Open to the public.
