Social Service League of Ithaca Grant Guidelines and Application
The mission of the Social Service League is to support Tompkins County not-for-profit, human service organizations in their work to address the most significant community needs. Any not-for-profit, incorporated, human/social service provider in Tompkins County is eligible to apply. Ordinarily, public/government agencies and individuals are not eligible to receive funds. Projects must prove the ability to sustain themselves without continuing support from the League. Funding is not granted for capital fund drives or deficits. For more information, contact John Mazzello at the Human Services Coalition at 607-273-8686.
The Board met in November and allocated $12,706 to 16 organizations. The Human Services Coalition continues to provide technical support and facilitate the funding process.
Awards for the 2016-2017 application cycle have already been given.
Applications for the 2017-2018 grant funding cycle will be accepted in the Fall of 2017.
Congratulations to the 2016-2017 Award Recipients!
