Applications for funding for EFSP Phase 35 are now open. Submission deadline is June 28, 2018.
Tompkins County has been awarded $37,753 in federal funds made available through the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)/Federal Emergency Management Agency under the Emergency Food and Shelter Program.
The Human Services Coalition administers this program locally. Applications are now being accepted for Phase 35 of the program, which will tentatively run through January 31, 2019. This funding supports emergency food and shelter services in Tompkins County.
Eligible local agencies must:
- Be private voluntary non-profits or units of government,
- Be eligible to receive Federal funds,
- Have an accounting system,
- Practice nondiscrimination,
- Have demonstrated the capability to deliver emergency food and/or shelter programs, and
- If they are a private voluntary organization, have a voluntary board.
Qualifying agencies are urged to apply.
