Join 211 and the Human Services Coalition to become a volunteer driver for Friends in Service Helping (FISH)! Since 1966, FISH has offered trusted, community-powered rides to medical appointments across Tompkins County — no no-shows, no costly fares, no juggling multiple drivers, just reliable round-trip service.

Driver perks: mileage reimbursed at the IRS rate (beats the cost of gas), fully flexible scheduling, and the option to drive an Ithaca Carshare vehicle instead of your own.

A 211 Transportation Specialist will be on hand to answer questions and help you get started. Come find out how far a little gas and a little heart can go!
