Social Service League of Ithaca

The mission of the Social Service League of Ithaca is to support Tompkins County not-for-profit, human service organizations in their work to address the most significant community needs. Any not-for-profit, incorporated, human/social service provider in Tompkins County is eligible to apply. Public/government agencies and individuals are not eligible to receive funds.

The application process for 2024-2025 is now closed.

2023 – 2024 Award Recipients

The Social Service League allocated nearly $18,900 to 13 organizations for the 2023-2024 funding cycle.
The Human Services Coalition provided technical support and facilitated the funding process.

This year grant funds supported:

Child Development Council – Basic Needs Program
Civic Ensemble – ReEntry Theatre Program
Enfield Community Council – Enfield Kwanzaa Celebration
Family & Children’s Service of Ithaca – Emergency Hotel Stays for Runaway Youth
Foodnet Meals on Wheels – Blizzard Bag Meals
Golden Opportunity – GO Club
Ithaca Welcomes Refugees – Welcome Home Program
OAR – Sunflower House Program
Open Doors English – Emergent Short-Term Beginner ESL Class
Second Wind Cottages – Dryden House for formerly homeless and at-risk women and their children
St. John’s Community Services – SJCS Ithaca Food Pantry
Youth Farm Project – Teen Internships
